What makes activity kits from TravelKiddy unique?
TravelKiddy activity kits stand out from the competition because of our variety and quality.  Each of our kits is designed to engage multiple facets of a child's mind - imagination, creativity, learning and fine motor skills.  Our kits are reviewed by child development experts, educators, parents and a panel of children to ensure that you receive a quality product that will provide hours of fun.  

Are your products safe?
We take child safety very seriously and only buy from merchants that are in compliance with current state, federal, and international child safety laws - including the new CPSIA (and stricter Illinois) regulations for total lead content.

We subscribe to recall updates from the CPSC and will make every effort to alert our customers if something in our kits is ever subject to a recall.

Why are markers not included?
After years of traveling with markers we have found that the lost lids and stains on hands and clothes are just not worth the travel hassle.

How many hours of entertainment does the TravelKiddy provide?  
Of course it varies by child but in field tests it keeps kids entertained for an average of 8 hours.

What if I want something custom for my child?
We can customize by gender or special interest at no extra charge.  Please indicate your preferences in the instructions box at check out.  Going on an extra long trip? Want something custom created to match the interests of your child?  Contact us using the on-line form or give us a call at 303-955-4258 - we are happy to create something special for your child. 

What extra materials are needed to complete the crafts?
The kits are all inclusive and contain no messy glue.

Describe the ToddlerKiddy backpack.
The toddler backpack was designed exclusively for TravelKiddy by Mim (the resident TravelKiddy grandmother). It is handmade with reinforced seams, fully-lined and machine washable. It features a velcro closure, side pockets and a hook for hanging.  Contact us if you are interested in a custom color or design.

Why not a backpack for the TravelKiddy?
We experimented with backpacks but could not find any that met our rigorous standards. The handle on our bag is easy to carry for kids and adults. It also fits nicely into a carry-on bag. The ToddlerKiddy features a custom designed backpack that fits comfortably on toddler shoulders.
